Most people who know me know that Wednesdays are my favorite days because it's lunch day with the girls. It is the best thing ever, and I'm so thankful that I was brought into this group. It was such a GOD thing. Anyway this past Wednesday, my friends arranged for a baby shower for Annie. It was fabulous! We got to go to Copeland's (amazing!). We had their spinach dip with fried bow tie pasta (incredible!). It was so great to spend time with friends. Plus, I got some super great stuff for Annie!
After lunch, Karen called me. She was super sad that she didn't get to come. Then, she called that night and said that she really wanted to come to Little Rock. So, Thursday afternoon she, Kasey and Baby James drove to Little Rock from Whitehouse, Texas. We had a great time! We didn't do anything exciting, but we had a wonderful time just being together. The girls played and played and played and played. They were so tired, but they had an amazing time! We were bummed though because Tammy has been sick, and we didn't get to see her until last night. We had a blast eating take-out from Fulin. Then before we knew it, the weekend was over. It was so sad to see Karen and the kids go home today. I'm just thankful they got to come. What a treat!

Ellie and Kasey enjoying a gourmet meal!Today, my amazing friend Lora along with my good friend Jessica organized a diaper shower for me and Sarah Langston another girl in our class who is expecting a little girl in about 2 weeks. It was so fun to eat breakfast and fellowship with friends. Plus, we got a great supply of diapers and wipes - always a necessity!
We have been so blessed with good friends here at LRFBC. God is good!
