School Days...

Mollie's teachers have been taking pictures of the class and posting them on edline. I LOVE being able to see her in that environment with her classmates. Here are a few....

First day of school....she looks like a ragamuffin! ;)

On Mondays and Fridays there aren't as many kids in Mollie's class. I think it's neat that they get a little more attention on these days.

We LOVE Miss Clements (Mollie's Teacher) and Mrs. Slayton (Miss Clements' assistant teacher)!! Plus, we are loving being in the same class with Mark! He and Mollie interact like an old married couple. It is hilarious!

Teddy Bear Hunt

The K3 students at Mollie's school celebrated the letter "B" with a Teddy Bear Hunt and tea party on Thursday. Each child brought his/her own teddy bear for the festivities. Mollie had a blast!!! One of her teachers told me that Mollie cried when she discovered that her bear was missing!!

Mollie and her bear "Pola." She got him for having a great start to the school year.

Mollie and her friends found a clue on their bear hunt!

The fun thing about having girls is...

every once in a while you "get" to take them to a party that is as much fun for you as it is for them!! Last week, Ellie was invited to her friend Morgan's party at Bath Junkie, a local shop where you can create your own custom shampoo, lotion, bath crystals, etc. It is fabulous!!! I had never been before so I had a great time soaking it all in! Ellie had a wonderful time!!

Got to let the nails dry.

Ellie and Rinn

The girls played a couple of games where they guessed the answers to questions about Morgan as well as what they were smelling.

They also decorated their cupcakes.

Read to Me Day

One thing that almost always never happens around here is Brian and I both traveling in separate directions on the same day. However, last Friday it did. As it would happen, Read to Me Day was scheduled for the same day. Argh! Brian was flying home at 1:30 pm and I was leaving at 12:00 noon for Tulsa to go to Women of Faith. So, Brian's mom stepped in and went with Ellie to Read to Me Day. Basically, the teachers set aside about an hour or so for the kids to have someone special come to school and read with them. Ellie had a blast! Thanks, Nannie, for taking care of our girl!

Annie's first day of school

First Kids Day Out was finally able to open on Wed., August 25th! We were all so very excited! We had to delay the start of FKDO due to a major remodeling/renovation project at our church. (More to come on this adventure) Annie is having a blast. Her class has 6 kids with a couple of extra kids who come one day a week for our exercise childcare. Annie adores her teachers - Mrs. Dollie and Mrs. Maria. We are so blessed by these two amazing women who love our little girl so very much!

Annie and her friends take a ride in the Bye Bye Buggy.

It's always more fun at Mimi's house

When we go to Mimi's house, everyone has a better time! Forget the play doh. At Mimi's house we have flour and biscuit dough!

Annie got to watch.

But the big kids got to.....

Play with biscuit dough and flour!

Ellie loved getting to be creative.

Noah wasn't quite sure about all of the mess. However, it didn't take long for him to have fun!!

Mollie didn't worry a bit about the mess. She was having way too much fun!!
