Road Trip

About a week ago, we finally took the girls to Fayette to see Brian's Mamaw. This was the first time she had gotten to see or hold Annie. We have been waiting for Mamaw to fully recover from a surgery she had at the end of May. The girls had a great time and really enjoyed getting to take a break from the rush of everyday life. Plus, they love to go see Mamaw. On Saturday, we all loaded up and drove the less than 10 minute drive to Mamaw's cabin where we ate a late lunch and Brian, his mom and Mamaw attempted to take Ellie and Mollie fishing. I ended up having to help. Holding Annie in one arm and Mollie in the other was a bit difficult, so the little girls and I headed back to the cabin to relax. Mollie and I enjoyed laying around and watching TV. While we were relaxing, Ellie caught her first fish!! We were all so excited. The little guy put up quite a fight and didn't survive very long after being caught. Nevertheless, Ellie was thrilled, and Brian was one proud daddy!
