Christmas Parties, Parties, Parties

Mollie's Class Christmas Party

Mollie's class had their Christmas party the Thursday before school got out for Christmas break. It was such a fun party. They had quite the spread with sandwiches, pizza, cheese dip, chips, fruit and cookies. WOW! The kids were so excited!! It was fun to watch them. I had to miss some of the party because we were partying in First Kids Day Out. Fortunately, Brian was off work and could be at Mollie's party with her.

Mollie was so excited about her party!

My Christmas present from Mollie. I absolutely love it. All the moms put their aprons on and wore them at the party.

Mollie's teacher Miss Clements had a special gift for each of the kids....

She made each of them a blanket. Mollie has slept with her blanket every night and every nap since she got it!

Rini's parents couldn't be there, so Miss Clements helped her open her present.

And she LOVED it!

Then, Mollie got to open a special surprise she had made.

They made ornaments with their finger prints on them as snowmen.

Her daddy helped her make a gingerbread house.

The kids each brought a book for their book exchange. Mollie was thrilled to get a Bible.

Me and Suzanne in our aprons. We were such proud mamas!

Ellie's Class - Happy Birthday Jesus Party

Ellie's class celebrated Christmas with a Happy Birthday Jesus party. The kids had a great time! We had their party after their Christmas program. They had earned a pizza party, and we were fortunate to be able to have the party for their Christmas party. They had cupcakes and blew out the candles in honor of Jesus' birthday! They were so cute watching Miss Morton open her Christmas present and being together before the Christmas break.

Christmas Extravaganza

The first weekend in December the women's ministry at our church hosts the Christmas Extravaganza. Part of the fun is the table decorations that are done by different ladies. My friend Tammy and I decorated two tables for the event. It was so much fun. During the event, we heard from Georg Andersen a local designer who has an office here in Arkansas and one in New York where he went to design school. His testimony about the home being your silent witness was incredible. I was particularly blessed when he said that it was OK for toys to be all over your house because that is the season of life you are in. We had such a great morning and a record of almost 300 women were in attendance.
