Trunk Or Treat

Tonight was the Third Annual Trunk Or Treat at Little Rock's First Baptist Church, our home church. After weeks of anticipation, the event came off without a hitch - Praise the Lord!

We had a great time! The girls were super excited. Well, Mollie wasn't quite sure what was going on but I'm sure she was thrilled to be there! Ellie was dressed as Hannah Montana. The gold costume was awesome! Mollie was a different story.

When I was online ordering Ellie's costume, she and I decided that it would be perfect to dress Mollie up as Whinnie The Pooh. Not such a great idea. Whenever Mollie sees the costume or we try to dress her up, she screams! We had decided to try to dress her up as a ballerina. Mama found the girls matching costumes at Gymboree. No such luck. Mollie had nothing to do with it! OH, well! She loved Trunk Or Treat - especially the horse on the carriage. However, she wasn't so fond of riding the carriage. We had to stop it and get her off! :)

Ellie was a little overwhelmed by the crowd. I have to admit that it was a little overwhelming for me! We were able to get some candy to fill her guitar-shaped candy bucket. Five of her friends from school were there. All of the girls except for one were dressed as Cinderella. The other little girl was dressed as Ariel. It was fun to see them all together.

We were so excited that Noah was able to come! The girls absolutely adore Noah. He was the cutest cow ever!!! Mimi and Papa Jim were there too. It was a great night!

PawPaw and Nannie stopped by to see the girls but had to leave to get to the ABHS football game. Hopefully, I can talk Ellie into dressing up again tomorrow so that they can see their costumes.
Mandy reminded me in her comment of Mollie's "funny" for the evening. Every time Mollie saw the horse drawn carriage, she would yell "Gidget!" Apparently, every single animal, in her precious 19-month eyes is a Gidget (aka the name of our dog).

My favorite part of the evening was Mollie asking "Where's Gidget?" in reference to the horse :)
