Many of you have heard me talk about my best friend since high school - Jenny Sanders. She is in the fight of her life and is winning!! She just completed chemo for breast cancer. She was diagnosed in April and has been fighting like a champ ever since.
October 11, I had the distinct privilege of walking in the Race for the Cure with Jenny. We were part of a team led by Jenny's new friend Shana, also a young cancer survivor. Our part of the team was made of up of Jenny's mom, Elaine Andersen; as well as Jenny's girls, Audrey and Anna; and college friends April McFarland and Lizanne Tollett. What a day and what a privilege to watch as your friend passes through the survivor finish line!
Way to go Jenny!!
