One of my jobs (in case you haven't heard, I have a few) is to maintain the ABSS web site. I love being able to be involved with Arkansas Baptist. It's where I grew up, from where I graduated and now where Ellie goes to school. It's special that she is walking the same halls that I did. Plus, she loves school! I am in the process of putting together a photo gallery for the elementary. Tonight, I finally took some time to checkout a CD from the first day of school for the K3-K5. Here's what I found, and yes, I cried.

A little pep talk before school. I think if I remember correctly, there was a little discussion about a Barbie doll.

One last hug.

I'm certain there was quite a story being told.

Brian and I walking Ellie to her classroom. I really wanted a picture of her walking down the hall. This is perfect! Her friend Tripp is behind her. She's been cheering him on. It's his first time in school - such a sweet family.

Karen Thompson, ABES's computer teacher, takes a lot of pictures for the school. She was able to take this one of E without her knowing. I just love it!

ha ha, I love how organized her snack is :)
Well . . . you made me cry this morning! Those are really sweet pictures. I am so proud of her . . always, always . . .but today, for how well she is meeting the challenges of kindergarten this year. She is so special!
Aw, you got the one you couldn't get yourself...the one of her going down the hall. And you have the "one last hug" pic too, like Kasey and I...that one almost got me :) I am so glad that you have these to add to your library and someone else could capture the moments you were too busy to get because you were focused on the task at hand. Love you my dearest friend, love sharing these moments with you even if it's just through blog world.
