A day at home

Days at home seem to be few and far between in our little world. My schedule is supposed to allow for me to have one day off during the week. However, as is the case working for a church, this doesn't always happen. I'm OK with this except for when it takes a toll on my girls. Last week, I as able to take Thursday off. Only problem was that it was a major house cleaning day. Our house was super gross. I wanted to make sure that I got it clean before Brian got home on Friday. The girls were pretty cooperative. Annie slept all morning! Praise God!!

Please note...I was having major camera issues last week. I think that I have it fixed, but we shall see.

Ellie was a HUGE help. She asked to feed Annie. I would have been crazy to tell her no.

Ellie & Annie

As soon as Mollie got up, she asked for a bath. It seems her diaper leaked making her feel nasty and needing a bath. It's interesting to note that she got up between 9 and 10 that morning.

Mollie was LOVING having the bath tub to herself!
About lunch time, Mollie came into my room and asked for yet another bath. I told her no and then asked why. At this point, I realized that Mollie's chest and belly were a little shiny. She looked at me and said, "It's butter." "Butter" is what Mollie calls peanut butter. I wasn't sure whether to be angry with her or to laugh. I figured laughing probably was not the best response as it may encourage her to do it again. It took about 6 or more baby wipes to clean her up. I just didn't have it in me to bathe her just yet. I did that about dinner time. Gidget did follow her around. Guess she just smelled too good. :)
